Place: St. Mark's church
This church is right in the middle of Venice, and it's really really pretty. Apparently it's even better from the inside, but i didn't have time to go there. I'm not sure i would want to though, because apparently the actually have the remains of Mark in there, which is just creepy to me. It looks nice from the outside though. All those pictures are actually mosaics, which would be really hard to do, especially on the parts that are curved.

We had to take a boat to get there because our hotel was actually on the mainland. I only saw one hotel in Venice the whole time i was there and it was a 5 star hotel, so I can see why we didn't stay there. Venice is really pretty when your looking at it from this angle. It's hard to believe how old the buildings are, since they're not allowed to be changed due to the fact that the entire city is on stilts.

I got this mask in Venice. They're everywhere and you can find them in any colour or style you want. There are even entire shops that only sell masks, although i didn't get mine from one of those. The mask's are for the festival that happens in February. Atleast i'm pretty sure it happens in February. All I know is we missed it and some people in the group were complaining about that.

We just had this horse made in front of us abotu a minute before i took this picture. The guy making it made it look so easy that anyone could do it, but he's like a master glass maker person. He actually made this horse in like 30 seconds. Just thought I'd show everyone.
