This website was a project in Ms. Wear's Grade 11 Information Technology course at Mount Douglas Secondary. This website uses valid CSS, XHTML 1.0 Strict and Javascript. It took over 2 weeks and many classes to finish this website.
About Me
My name is Wilson Chung, I am in Grade 11 at Mount Douglas Secondary School and I am 17 years old. I have paddled for 3 years, since I was 14. I started as a Dragonboat paddler, but I gained some interest in Outrigger and tried it a few times.
In the summer of 2007, I joined the Victoria Youth Paddling Club (VYPC) located in Ocean River, and as part of VYPC's training program, I paddled many times a week in both flatwater kayaks and outriggers. I have also gone out in whitewater kayaks and surf skis, though I was not as interested in those. Now, I am in a U19 OC6 (Outrigger for 6 people) team, the VYPC Pirates, and we have qualified and are racing in the world outrigger championships in Sacramento. I am also a certified coach, and I have some experience coaching younger paddlers.
