While in Florida you can't miss Disney World. This amusement park, consisting of 4 main kingdoms, 2 water parks, resorts, golf and shopping takes up 25, 000 acres of sunny Orlando Florida. While it may be quite a trip by bus, car or foot to reach all these parks its one part of Florida you can't skip.

Magic Kingdom is perhaps the most well known theme part. Classic rides such as Its A Small World, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tom Sawyer Island, Peter Pan and of course Pirates of the Carribean! For a more thrilling ride take a trip dowm Splash Mountain or go for a wild ride in Space Mountain. Although this park is geared primarily to the younger visiters, happily married couples and adults of all ages can be found hopping from ride to ride with huge grins plastered on their faces. Or the occasion quesy face from those stepping off the tea cups. The most famous landmark, associated with Magic Kingdom is Cinderella's castle. Every night the whole park gathers around this castle to watch the Wish Upon A Star fireworks show and watch Tinker Bell fly across the sky.

Animal Kingdom takes you to a park dedicated to the wilder side of the world. From the moment you enter the largest of all parks wildlife instantly surrounds you. Filled with wonders such as the tree of Life, and the high flying roller coaster Expedition Everest, this park provides some memorable experiences.

The most popular attraction in Animal Kingdom is probably the Kilimanjaro Safari, where you are taken through the African savannah and shown the wild animals in their "natural habitat".

Hollywood Studios is geared more towards the older visitors of the park, with the heart-stopping rides such as Tower of Terror and Aerosmith Rollercoaster. In Tower of Terror the "broken" elevator falls 13 stories through the old Hollywood Tower. In Aerosmith Rock and Roll Rockercoaster you board the band's limo and race above, beneath and around the other cars to get to the concert on time! The Hollywood studios also include rides to show view the backstage wonders of the movie business. The Hollywood studios also include a firework, laser and lights show called Fantasmic!

As you walk down the streets of Hollywood Studios there are two sights towering high above you. Straining your neck to get a better glimpse they seem to continue on forever. There is never a time within the theme park that Mickey's hat and the Tower of Terror aren't within eye sight. Mickey's hat can be found dead center, the round about to all four parts of Hollywood Studios. Not an hour goes by that a play or parade isn't being under its shade. The Tower of Terror is easy to find, simply follow the screams!

The last park is called Epcot. This park is broken up into two main sections. The first section, Future World contains rides focusing on current day technology and future inventions to come. The other section, the more famous of the two is the World Showcases. The eleven pavilions include Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, United States, Japan, Morocco, France, UK and Canada. Each country is given a change to "showcase" their country. Each country choice different ways to do so, including movies, plays and shows, rides, and of course lots and lots of shopping!

On especially hot days there are two fast and sure ways to cool down. Visit the water parks! Disney world is home to Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon. Blizzard Beach is a water park designed to look as it's just been hit by a blizzard. The ground is white like snow, and all rides resemble toboggan runs and ski hills. The most exhilarating ride is Summit Plummet a 120ft tall freefall slide allowing the brave sliders to reach speeds of 55 miles per hour! Typhoon Lagoon is home to the world's largest outdoor wave pool!

And besides the rides and water parks, there is always the opportunity to "shop until you drop"! Complete with an entire world of its own, 'Downtown Disney' holds clubs, restaurants and hundreds of stores! The multiple resorts within Disney World also provide comfort, and luxury to your stay, as long as you've got the bucks to pay for it!

Young and old, Disney World is one stop in Florida you won't want to pass up. This stop on your trip will surely be one of the most memorable!
