Nikki is the resident jokester, hands down. Like Jessie and Charlie, I've only known her for a year and a half, but she never fails to find the humour in everything. She is studious, and at first may seem quiet, like Ana. You just have to dig a little deeper to discover her personality. She is a math whiz, despite her protests, and a French whiz. Nikki will also do anything to make you feel better when you are having a rotten day. She'll dish out compliments endlessly or just try and find something positive in the situation, and it never fails to lighten our sullen moods. Math class with her is always a laugh.

We sit in the back corner of the room, mostly discussing extremely important matters in our own little word while trying to still understand the math at the same time. It doesn't usually work. Jessie or myself will usually say something perfectly innocent, and then Nikki will find some way to poke fun at us or, in Jessie's case, turn her face bright red. It's also a tradition to try and embarrass Nikki, because Jess and I can get a little crazy once in a while. Jessie will usually just have uncontrollable giggling fits and loud outbursts in the middle of math class, causing the rest of the students to stare at our back corner and Nikki to raise her eyebrows and shake her head at us, all the while trying to disguise her embarrassment.

Usually, I'll just dance in the middle of the hallway while Nikki attempts to shun me and pretend she doesn't know who I am. Ana will sometimes join in with me on this, and like a destructive duo, we will dance our way down the hallway or perform our personal favourite, the Gangster Walk. It's a classic. And, a sure way to embarrass Nikki. Nikki is my reassuring friend, one who has complete confidence in everyone. Opposite to me, she is the shortest in the group, but what she lacks in height she makes up in wit. With her silly Southern accent she'll let loose once in a while and a quick joke or two waiting to slip out, Nikki can make anyone laugh.
