The Dark Lords(a.k.a. bosses)
- Spider Queen
 Encountered in the Tsuta
ruins, keep your distance from the spider and
wait till a cocoon of venom appears on her head, use power slash to stun the queen,
draw lines from the flowers to the hooks on her back to open the 'flower',
jump on the 'flower and attack the eyeballs till they are all destroyed
- Crimson Helm
 Encountered in
the Gale shrine, you have to attack
him to get rid of his armor and use
galestorm to blow out his fire before you can do any real damage
- Orochi
 Encountered in the moon cave,
after Susano appears use waterspout on the
8 purification sake and guide it into orochi's mouth when he roars, do this twice
to 3 heads then climb onto his back and attack the bell to destroy his barriar,
once his barriar is down use the sake to stun him then run up and attack the head
till it is down, do this with all eight heads to finish the fight
- Blight
 Encountered in the Emperor's
stomach, wait till blight draws 8 swords up around him,
use power slash on the glowing sword to stun him, then attack the glowing sword
while it is stunned (use mist to give yourself more attack time)
- Ninetales
 Encountered at Oni Island,
wait untill nintales raises her sword
into the air then use Thunderstorm on it to split ninetales into 'evil Rao's'
then defeat these 'evil Rao's' (you will need to do this more then once to get them all)
when they have all been destroyed, Ninetales becomes vulnerable to your attacks
(Ninetales can counter your Celestial Brush techniques, watch out)
- Lechku and Nechku
 Encountered at
Wepkeer shrine, these guys have many attacks you
can counter with brush techniques when they are of balance, launch Oki from his ice
bow at the demon and use a brush technique to knock them out of the sky where you can
attack them, each one must be defeated seperatly
- Yami
 Encountered in the ark of yamato,
Yami steals your brush techniques at the start and
you gain them back one by one as the fight progresses, in his first form use power slash
when he is stunned for some free damage but using bloom will open his case and enable you
to deal more damage with each attack for a short while,
In his second form use waterspout
when he is on fire to stun him and use cherry boom or crescent when he is stunned to expose
his core,
In his third form use power slash to stop the reels and use techniques to counter
his attacks (use mist to stop them more effectivly)
In his fourth form use thunderstorm
when his arms stick strait up and become spiked to reveal his weak point
In his final form
use sunrise when he makes the screen dark to gain some attack time
