Mt Doug Strings has a unique system of having a concert.
We conbine our class with classes in Oak Bay High School, Reynolds Secondary School, and Esquimalt High School.
There are three conductors: Mrs. Whyte of Mt Doug, Ms. Treble of Esquimalt and Mr. Luniw of Reynolds and Oak Bay.
We surprise ourselves when we combine our sounds. It feels like looking at thousands of bees doing their dance.
The group bee dance is more attractive and mesmerizing compared to the single bee dance.


Mt Doug Strings has a unique system of learning.
Although the course is based on marks, we care more about playing in a optimistic and enjoyable environment.
We think of each other as family. We teach each other to leech as much skills as possible and beseech to learn more.
In this perfect environment full of eager to enjoy and improve, everyone can feel professional and be professional.
We think of our involvement in this orchestra as a gift from God, as it seems like an Utopia.

Anyone wanting to join is always welcome.
No particular skill is needed, but if i must say one, I'd say participation!
