Get Smart

Get Smart was released in North America on June 20th, 2008. It’s based on a 1960’s television series. The film starred Steve Carell as Maxwell Smart and Anne Hathaway as Agent 99. It’s about a top secret American intelligence agency Control. Maxwell Smart is a analyst at Control, he dreams on being a field agent but he is denied the promotion because he is the best analyst Control has. Control headquarters is attacked by its archenemy, the terrorist organization Kaos. As a result, almost all of Control’s agents are exposed and killed. Max is promoted to agent 83 and partners up with agent 99. Their job is to stop Kaos from detonating a nuclear bomb on us soil. Max and agent 99 undergo a series of exiting events witch results in the death of the head of Koas, Siegfried. Get Smart was a funny yet exiting move. The movie had a running time of 110 min and I found every second on it to be entertaining. The movie has a budget of $80 million and I think they could of done more given the money. Get smart was directed by Peter Segal his use of angles really gave the move perspective. Get smart made $230,523,930 worldwide and was produced by Alex Gartner, Charles Roven, and Andrew Lazar. I give Get Smart 3.5 out of 5.
