TutorialsIntroductionWelcome to our tutorials page, here you can learn how to Photoshop images. The pages (shown below) will help you create more realistic images in Photoshop. Our tutorial includes 3 articles on luminosity/exposure, color, and layers. In luminosity/exposure, you'll learn how to fix the exposure on images which didn't turn out the way you wanted them too. In the article on color you'll learn what hue, saturation, and lightness are, and how to use them to your advantage. In the article on layers you'll learn what layers and blend modes are, how to mask a layer to only show what you want, and how to use them to make a cool composition. In the tutorials there will be a few images helping guide you along. Unfortunately, some of the images were taken on Windows XP, and others were taken on Windows 7, so there may be some slight variation in the general look and layout of things. Rest assured, however, that you should still be able to understand everything that's going on. If anything in the tutorials doesn't match up with what you see in your copy of Paint.NET, then you may have a different version. We recommend making sure it's updated to the latest version, to be sure. If you aren't using Paint.NET, there will be several differences, but many of the techniques and tools used in the tutorials will still work similarly in other programs. Just be aware of what you're using while learning through this website, so you don't get too confused or frustrated...we take no responsibility for broken monitors, keyboards and mouses (Mice? Mouse? What is the plural form of computer mouse?), or anything else you may accidentally (or purposely) break in the process of learning to manipulate photos. Let's begin. Back to Top |
